Fentech Agri’s Stampede is a crimper roller designed to roll, cut and bruise cover crop in order to ease the operation of a direct drill or cultivator. Working widths of 3 to 6 metres are available in either a front or rear mounted configuration.
The centrally pivoting roller allows for contouring ensuring an even contact with foliage over the entire width while the spacing of the replaceable blades leaves a crimp or cut at 165mm intervals along the length of the stem/leaf to promote the breakdown of the plant.
An optional weight pack provides more ballast for rear mounted implements and puts more pressure on the roller to assist cutting/crimping especially for tall or thicker crops.
