We’re looking for a skilled, self-employed Welder/Fabricator to join our friendly team 2–3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident in working independently, with a passion for quality craftsmanship and building bespoke agricultural machinery.

Your Role:

• Fabricate and build bespoke agricultural equipment, including large-frame structures and smaller components from engineer’s drawings.
• Set up and operate fabricating machinery.
• Follow detailed engineering/fabrication drawings to produce high-quality work.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure all work meets industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We need someone who is self‑motivated, able to multi‑task, and comfortable working with heavy steel sheet and framework. You should take pride in figuring out the best setup for each job and producing precise, durable work.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident working with 6–20mm mild and stainless steel, including wear plate materials.Excellent attention to detail and high work standards.
• Proficient with hand tools and machinery operation.

Desirable Experience:

• Background in the agricultural industry.
• TiG welding skills.
• Experience with fitting and jig work.
• Familiarity with CNC laser or press operation.
